Fred Hu

Fred Zuliu Hu (born in 1963) is Chairman and President of Primavera Capital Group, and professor at School of Economics and Management and Director at the National Center for Economic Research (NCER) at Tsinghua University. Fred served as an economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C., from 1991 to 1996. He was Greater China Chairman and partner for Goldman Sachs from 2008 to 2010. Fred holds a PhD in economics from Harvard University.
