David Firestein

David Firestein is President and CEO, George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S. China Relations. He served as senior vice president at the New York City-based East-West Institute (EWI) and the founding executive director of the University of Texas at Austin’s (UT) China Public Policy Center (CPPC).

His research focuses on U.S.-China Relations, Energy, Trade and Investment, Asia-Pacific Security, etc.
